Depression can negatively affect the way a person performs his or her roles at work or school. Depression is also known for its negative impact on relationships. When it’s severe it can lead to the attempts of taking away one’s life. Depression is curable. There are several therapies that can be administered in the treatment of this disorder such as cognitive behavior therapy, psychotherapy and other valuable medications such as an antidepressant.

Anxiety

This mental health disorder is more common to people experiencing depression. This is a disorder that affects a great percentage of adults around the world. Anxiety is caused by several factors such as genetics, brain chemistry among other factors. This disorder is treatable but only a small percentage of people suffering from this disorder seek treatment. The symptoms of this disorder can be managed easily with the help of psychotherapy and medications.

Dementia

Dementia is constantly recurring in nature and causes the cognitive function to deteriorate past the normal aging, affecting more than 50 million people around the world. Dementia is caused by multiple diseases that interfere with the functioning of the brain and up to now no cure has been discovered but there are treatments available meant to ease the suffering and confusion being experienced by the victims.
